Artist Statement
A self proclaimed anti-arctophilist, I am innately...bizarre.
I inspect the world through a colorful albeit filthy kaleidoscope.
Knowing no one could ever truly grasp my visions the way they dance across my
eyeballs does not stop me from unabashedly expressing them.
Highly biological in form, and quite detailed in both composition and texture, my art reflects a
silliness as well as a deep brooding...parallelling life and nature. From the bold splay of color to
the near-invisible veins of left behind bubbles, the pieces take hold on a fundamental level.
Such is the primordial soup of art- to which I attempt to capture the essence with gusto.
My style is a microcosm of gooey delight on a cacophonous scale.
To view my work is like looking into an abstract mirror of mood- what one sees today may be gone
with the change in emotion by tomorrow. Suffice to say, I prefer to leave the interpretation of the
pieces in the hands and hearts of the viewer.
